The 2024 Kapiti Coast Spoofing Championship

This year the venue is again at the most popular venue on the Coast ... THE WATERFRONT

This will be 4th annual Kapiti Coast Spoofing Championships and as most of you have attended the previous Kapiti Spoofs, I would be delighted if you would join us in the 2024 version. The details are below:-

• Waterfront Restaurant & Bar 1.00pm start with first round commencing at 1.45pm. The pool winners from 1st round will continue to drink unimpeded by the concentration of spoofing taking in the views of Kapiti Island while the losers of the first round will go through to repechage round in a bid to advance to the quarter finals.
• In the meantime, for wives and partners of spoofers a late lunch will take place. Details and cost will be advised later.
• At the conclusion of the quarter finals probably around 4.00pm we all will depart (transport is provided) to The Esplanade where the semi-finals and final will take place.
• Wives and partners join the join the spoofers at The Esplanade to watch the finals.
• Upon the conclusion of the finals live music will commence and we all party into the night.
• The cost for spoofers is $240 payable on the day which covers all your food and beverage for the entire day and $40 for wives and partners who join us at John’s house.
• A further charge of $40 is payable for wifes/partners attending the finale which covers their food and beverage.

If you have a friend or friends who would like to bring along let me know. It won’t be a problem. In the meantime, if you haven’t confirmed your attendance (some of you already have) please do so as its essential I get confirmed numbers for catering and organisational reasons.

On a slight side note, the 2nd Kapiti Coast Spoofers Golf Classic will be held on Friday 12th, tee off time of 12 noon. The golf after match/19th will be held at the Waterfront at 5.00pm which everyone is welcome to attend.
